For instance, instead of using a packet of taco seasoning which may contain preservatives, MSG or artificial colors, we tell you what spices to use - and you probably already have them in your cupboard! (Yup, we just saved you a buck, too!)
Unlike other menu planning websites, Our plan allows you to see up to 4 weeks worth of assigned recipes at a time. This allows you to plan ahead & take advantage of sales at your local grocery store!
If you see a recipe that doesn't work for your family, no problem! You can just delete it and search the database for a replacement recipe that is better suited for your needs. Don't need a new meal planned every day? Simply delete the ones you don't need.
As meals are added to your Interactive Calendar, our site provides an automatic shopping list. As you make adjustments to recipe selections or the number of servings needed, your shopping list will automatically be updated to reflect these changes. You can even change the date range to include as many or as few recipe selections as you would like.
Our shopping list is arranged by category. This means no more running back to previous aisles because your items weren't grouped together on your list.
You will also find that you save money when you have a shopping plan and stick to your list!
Our recipes are tested with real families before being added to our database and our subscribers have the opportunity to rate recipes so you can be assured that it will be worth trying. While we don't ascribe to any one diet plan, we aim for meals between 300 and 550 calories with the fat and sodium less than 1/3 of the daily allowance.
